Narooma offers a wide variety of fishing opportunities
- from estuary to Continental shelf and all points
in between.
Wagonga
Inlet is a popular option to enjoy a lazy day
fishing from either the shore or boat. There are
also numerous easily accessed fishing spots on and
around the Narooma Bar- which also allows for access
to the deeper, ocean fishing grounds by boats.
For the more adventurous the offshore game fishin
at Narooma is second to none - particularly around
Montague Island where marlin, tuna and kingfish
are often hooked up. The Continental Shelf is at
its closest point to the mainland just near Narooma
and can easily be accessed in the appropriate boat.
But not so far out there are also plenty of good
reef fishing options and there are also miles of
pristine beaches to wander down and cast a line
or two.
